I was going to leave and had so many things that my luggage weighed 39kg...instead of the 29 included in my ticket.
I definitely had too much things.
So I started to tidy up everything I could find, to choose what I really loved and what was purely useless. Not only in my suitcase. I decluttered all my room.
I am a person stressed by the mess. I can't live in a messy room and am always storing all my clutter in boxes or closets.
Not a good idea.
I started to realise that if I did not need a thing, I could throw it away, give it to somebody who needs it. So yeah, I became kind of a minimalist. And here is how I did it.
Clothes:
Take all your clothes out of your closet and do three groups. What you want to keep and you use, what you do not use and will give away, and the third one of what you do not know if you want to keep or give away. Reorder all your clothes, keep the ones you do not know what to do with. A few months later, check out if you have worn these clothes. Give away the ones you have not worn and keep the others. I do it a few times a year, to be sure to keep only what I need and wear.
Buy less but buy better. Nobody needs to own ten T-Shirts, or so many sport clothes without doing any sport. The cloth industry is so bad for the environment, and if you wear a clothe 50 times instead of five (which is the average now!), you can reduce carbon emissions by 400% per item, in one year. These are the really easy things we can think about before buying something.
If fashion is a passion of yours, you can actually buy clothes in a thrift store, and give your clothes there when you do not need them anymore, just to renew and change a bit.
You can also buy your clothes from ethical brands.
Focus on basics, or clothes that you can basically wear with everything. You won't need to buy trousers because your top does not suit with your other jeans. Easy, isn't it?

The Box-Mess
Hidden does not mean stored or useful. When you have lots of space and lots of boxes (which happened to me), storing all your clutter in a box is so easy, and you won't see it anymore, as if it did never exist.
So bad! I discovered so many things that had been in my closet for years, instead of being used by someone who needed it. I went to a thrift store, gave away all was not useful anymore. And I felt so good and light!
These were my tips for decluttering, I hope you liked it. If you have any of yours, give them in the comments below.
See you next week!

Make-Up & Accessories
I am not a hudge make-up lover, nor I wear lots of accessories. I just kept the make-up I used every day, and some for special occasions. Same for accessories. I gave away what I got from friends or family but never used or even never liked. I kept what I liked and wore sometimes, or everyday. This was an easy part
